Entry

Pilot Registration Form

The entry fee for competitors is $100. A late fee of $10 will apply to those who register after February 1st 2003. Pilots are responsible for finding a team to tow with. There is no upper limit to team sizes.

All pilots are required to tow with weak links. A reserve parachute, helmet, UHF radio and approved GPS are mandatory equipment. Pilots must have an appropriate tow endorsement and current HGFA membership.

Free fliers are welcome to fly during the competition providing they pre-arrange a team to tow with. Pilots who are not tow crew or officials will be charged $10 per day for use of the tow paddock and facilities. Free fliers must register at the Wyalkatchem Recreation Centre by 10am on the day they intend to fly. They will be required to sign an indemnity form before they can fly from the tow paddock.

Scoring

 Last year's results

Scoring will be done using the latest version of the FAI Race software. A copy of the rules will be available from the scorer on request.

Registered pilots are required to submit a landing form every day regardless of whether they flew. Where a pilot is claiming turn-points and goal they must submit their GPS to be checked.

The team scoring system will favour those teams with a mixture of pilot ratings (final formula to be advised).
