Task is Beverly
straight line down wind - 108 kms.
Pilots in goal: Gary Wright, Gavin Nicholls, Frilly Knighty.
Height: 7000ft.
Notable events: Paul Blachford PB 96.4 kms but lands with full VG and makes a
contribution to Gordon for aluminium fund. Frilly lands at the Beverly race
course 1.01kms short or registered goal.
First was Gary then Gavin and Frilly. A very hard flying day especially after
passing Cunderdin, where pilots had to scratch rest of the way below 3000ft
except for Gavin who stayed high and arrived at goal at 3000.
