Round 4:
Task is set for
Shackleton 85ks.Possible OD day so task committee make a conservative call.
Pilots in goal: Gavin Nicholls,Gary Wright, Jamie Wolfe, Frilly Knighty,Murray

Height: 10,000 ft and beautiful clouds all the way. In retrospect the task could
have been longer but it was a hard call because of the trough.
Notable events: Frilly Knighty and Gary Wright have a 40Km final glide to goal
and arrive at 2500ft!! Rod Kerrigan in a paraglider lands two kms short and
walks the rest. Muz lands at 6:40pm.goal pilots report having to circle in 1000
down sink to get down to land. Ben (novice) lands only 20 kms short. 1200 to
1800 fpm climb rates reported. Race time is around 1:30 (unofficial) hours.
