As a client of ours since 2018, our team already had a remote monitoring system installed, which one morning, detected that the Centre’s servers had suddenly gone offline. Within minutes we contacted the owner and confirmed the unimaginable, a fire caused by an oxygen tank exploding onsite had destroyed the surgery and left the building completely inaccessible. For a busy medical practice, downtime doesn’t just mean inconvenience – it directly affects patient care, medical record access, and staff productivity. Immediate Disaster Recovery

IQPC acted efficiently, restoring the medical centre’s server from secure offsite backups hosted in our data centre onto a Disaster Recovery (DR) server. By the end of that same day, the Disaster Recovery (DR) server was operational, co-located, and accessible to staff from temporary offices. At the start of the next day, our team was onsite to assist staff at their new temporary location, ensuring devices were connected and the practice could run smoothly.

Communication and Support

Throughout the crisis, IQPC maintained proactive communication with the practice owner, providing reassurance and regular updates. Our team assisted with insurance queries and claims, reducing administrative stress and ensuring the practice could focus on patient care.
